Hi, I am Teresa!

I have been at Creek as a teacher since the summer of 1996.   While attending school at MATC for Early Childcare Education, I did my student teaching at Creek Day School.  I was very excited to be able to have the opportunity to work here.

I am working as the primary teacher in the 3 / 4 year old group at this time, but have spent time in the other age groups as well.  I particularly enjoy the 3 and 4 year olds as they grow and explore the world. I try to provide an environment with lots of opportunities to learn about science, letters, numbers, and reading.   Children at this age are rapidly expanding their vocabulary, and they are filled with questions as they learn to question and problem-solve.  Learning how to interact with others and become part of a group of caring friends is also a goal of the classroom.

I live in Fort Atkinson with my husband and 3 children.  I enjoy the experience of seeing them grow in many ways.  I like to be outdoors in the warm weather. I enjoy walking our dog, going to the beach or pool, going to new places with the children, and spending time with all of my family.
