Heidi

Hi! My name is Heidi.  

After babysitting during High School and observing my Mom’s family child care, I discovered how much I love children!  I enrolled at MATC and in 2004 I graduated with my Associate degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. After graduation I was hired at Creek Day School where I started working with the 2 year olds. I especially like the small group size, which makes it possible to really get to know each child.

I love being the Starfish teacher.  When the children smile it is contagious. When they give you a hug it will melt your heart. Humor is a big part of our day; the things 2 years old say and do will keep me laughing for days! In the starfish room we love sensory activities and playing outside, in the large outdoor playground.

When I’m not at Creek I enjoy camping with my husband and 2 daughters.  I also enjoy movies, reading and spending time with my family.
