Creek Day School is a childcare center offering full and part time care for children 18 months to 6 years of age.  Creek provides year ‘round service from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm to meet the diverse needs of parents and their children.

Program Philosophy
Creek’s program is based on the philosophy that play is the fundamental learning experience.  We view the preschool years as a critical time is the development of social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth.  Our goal is to provide a wide variety of play experiences that foster social, problem-solving and self-help skills while encouraging a positive self-concept.

Guidance
Guidance at Creek means helping children learn self-control and appropriate self-expression.  Discipline is handled in a way that respects the dignity of the child and fosters self-concept.  Children learn to treat others with respect and develop a sense of community.

Curriculum
At Creek we have chosen to set up the environment in which different ages mix together though out the day.  Within this framework, we provide many small group learning situations during the day which are geared for each individual’s developmental level.

Children have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of learning activities throughout the day.  

Creek is not part of the MMSD 4-K program, but our 4 year old program uses a 4-K approved curriculum, providing a similar learning environment for a full day.
